About Wyre Forest Cheerleading

Established in 2014, Wyre Forest Cheerleading started out as a recreational Cheerleading club offering children the opportunity to learn the love for this growing UK sport.

We are proud to be in our 6th season as a fully competitive cheerleading programme, offering opportunities for athletes aged 3 and up—including our adults team!

We now run classes 5 days a week, providing a wide range of opportunities for our athletes while specialising exclusively in cheerleading.

Competitive Cheerleading

Competitive cheerleading combines the excitement of acrobatic stunting (lifting each other up in the air!), gymnastic tumbling (from Forward rolls, cartwheels and handstands all the way to back somersaults!) jumps, and dance. Our teams are primarily competitive, spending their season perfecting a high-energy 2:30-minute routine for their competitions.
95% of our athletes love being part of a competition team, as it provides an incredible opportunity to build confidence, develop lifelong friendships through weekly training, and gain valuable life skills along the way.

Non - Competitive Cheerleading

While most of our athletes choose the competitive route, including our beginner competition teams, we also offer a recreational, non-competitive programme. These classes are flexible, with Pay-As-You-Go options and no requirement for weekly attendance or competition commitments. :)

Our goal is to help all our athletes "Beleaf" in themselves, grow into well-rounded individuals, and embrace the values of dedication, resilience, commitment, passion, and compassion. Our core ethos is ensuring that every child matters—each athlete is unique, valuable, and has their own special place on the team!
